SUMMARY:Music & Art Fundraiser for Cats
DESCRIPTION:Sister and brother Gabby (gray Russian Blue) and Chuckleberry Finn (black Maine\nCoone) have been my family since they were born in 2017 to a feral mama I rescued while\ncaring for a cat colony in Rockland County. Instead of letting their mother give birth outside \nto an uncertain fate on a dangerous road\, I trapped her so she could safely have her kittens.\nOver the years\, Gabby and Chuckleberry have been inseparable from\nme and each other\,  especially after I had to defect from Rockland to Ulster County\, due\nto what became a difficult situation from the work I was doing.\nMy cats have brought me deep comfort and joy through thick and thin in my life\, and in I\nhave done everything I could throughout\, to care for them and the other cats in my life.\nI have dedicated myself to taking care of their health needs throughout the years\, and\nnow at this time\, and now Gabby urgently needs seven teeth extracted\, while her\nbrother Chuckleberry needs a large cyst on his back removed after three years of\nmonthly costly drainings at the vet. Total estimated costs for these surgeries plus pre-\nop appointments and essential post medications is $5\,500—far beyond what my\nmusician’s income can cover. I have always given to my community in the ways that I\ncan\, through music\, love\, and support for local wildlife. Now I need assistance to give\nGabby and Chuckleberry the care they deserve\, so they can recover and continue living\nhappy\, healthy lives.\nThose who know me know how much cats have shaped my life\, and how deeply I care\nfor them. I am grateful for any help you can offer\, whether through this GoFundMe camp\naign (including sharing this URL) and/or by attending our upcoming Fundraiser/Music \nConcert & Art Show to be held on July 29th (7 to 10 p.m.) at Lydia’s Cafe in Stoneridge\, NY–there is a\nminimum donation of $25 to get into the event. A big big "thank you" upfront to owners\nMark and Roni of Lydia’s\, total lovers of cats\, who offered their venue for the fundraiser.\nPlease note that any amount you offer will be useful.\n*Although the fundraiser is a SEPARATE event from the GoFundMe campaign online\,\nall collected go to the same place.
